SYSA Communication Tree

SYSA is a rather large organization that has compartmentalized its communications so as to be more effective in addressing issues or concerns raised by its members. We have a "ground level up" approach to our communications so that we have a smaller, more readily managed communication tree that typically results in fairly rapid communications and resolutions too any issues. The first step to having a recreational soccer issue addressed by SYSA is to speak to your coach and/or team manager. Should they be unable to address your question, then email your Age Group Coordinator (AGC). Should any AGC be unsure as to what to do in a given situation, he or she will contact the appropriate Recreational Coordinator before responding to your email. A similar approach to issues that develop in the Division I (Competitive) and Division III (Upper House) programs should be followed - first contact your coach/manager, and then reach out to the appropriate coordinator (Competitive or Upper House). Although rare, issues that can not be resolved through the communication approach described above will be shared with the entire Board of Directors by the appropriate Coordinator.
